Berry Dreams changed the way we think about decaf.

Most decaffeinated coffees aim to imitate their caffeinated counterparts. This one doesn’t need to. From the very first cupping, it stood confidently on its own — vibrant, sweet and remarkably expressive.

What drew us in was the combination of juicy berry notes, caramel sweetness and a silky texture that feels almost effortless in the cup. It delivers everything we love about specialty coffee while remaining perfectly suited to quieter moments.

Berry Dreams is proof that slowing down doesn’t mean settling for less.

About the farm

Located in Piendamó, Cauca, at 1,900 metres above sea level, Granja Paraíso 92 has become one of Colombia’s most celebrated coffee farms. Known for its precision-focused approach and relentless pursuit of quality, the farm produces some of the country’s most distinctive coffees.

Every stage of production is carefully controlled, from cultivation and fermentation to drying, creating coffees with exceptional clarity and consistency.

Wilton Benitez is widely recognised as one of the most innovative producers in specialty coffee. Combining decades of coffee-growing experience with a background in chemical engineering, he has developed highly precise fermentation and processing techniques that have gained international acclaim.

His work is driven by curiosity, experimentation and an unwavering commitment to quality — qualities that shine through in every cup from Granja Paraíso 92.

Variety & Processing

Red Bourbon is a classic coffee variety celebrated for its sweetness, balance and elegant cup profile. When grown at high elevations and carefully processed, it can produce coffees with remarkable complexity and refined fruit character.

In this lot, the variety provides the perfect foundation for the vibrant berry notes and silky sweetness that define the cup.

This lot first undergoes 48 hours of anaerobic fermentation, a controlled stage that enhances its fruity, citric character and silky sweetness. The coffee is then dried for 48 hours at 38°C before going through the Sugar Cane decaffeination process, which gently removes caffeine while preserving flavour, body and aromatic complexity.

The result is a decaf that feels vibrant and expressive, with the clarity and sweetness of a carefully processed specialty coffee.

In the cup

Berry Dreams opens with notes of ripe red berries and soft citrus, followed by layers of caramel sweetness and a silky, rounded body. The acidity is gentle and refined, creating a cup that feels bright yet soothing. Sweet, elegant and remarkably expressive for a decaf, it offers all the pleasure of specialty coffee without the caffeine.
